Terms of Service
General
SIPSCOPE Information Technology (IT) Professional Consulting Services are available exclusively to client organizations through direct contract relationships.
To ensure the quality of our products and clarity of communications with clients, SIPSCOPE does not subcontract through third party vendors.
SIPSCOPE is open to reviewing, applying to, and participating in funding or contract vehicles at client’s request, where applicable and feasible.
All SIPSCOPE Client Engagements begin with a clearly defined Statement of Work signed by both parties.
Partnerships
SIPSCOPE only establishes partnerships with third party organizations, such as hardware and software manufacturers, in order to maintain access to information and other resources necessary for providing our services.
SIPSCOPE does not resell the services or products of other companies. However, we will recommend the services and products of other companies to our clients based on merit ratings established through our own personal experiences and reviews, quantifiable references, and a confirmed good track record of project success and customer satisfaction.
SIPSCOPE team members will not represent third party companies for any purpose, except and exclusively for SIPSCOPE’s parent company and its direct enterprises, divisions, brands, or subsidiaries.
SIPSCOPE offers referral commissions to its Registered Partners for client introductions, which lead to confirmed revenue. SIPSCOPE Registered Partners may not resell, mark-up, or re-brand SIPSCOPE products or services.
To inquire about becoming a SIPSCOPE Registered Partner, please reach out via our Contact page.
Remote Access
SIPSCOPE requires unfettered Virtual Private Network (VPN) access to all client systems covered under a Statement of Work. Screen sharing technologies such as Webex or Zoom are unacceptable access methods.
Additionally, client-provided workstations or remote desktop sessions are unacceptable access methods.
Due to the use of specialized software and proprietary methodologies, SIPSCOPE Information System Auditors & Engineers must be able to connect their workstations to client network environments.
Clients are welcome to observe operational tasks being completed by SIPSCOPE team members, except where proprietary methods are being exercised.
Clients may also review SIPSCOPE workstations relative to cybersecurity posture.
To help mitigate risks to our client’s environment, SIPSCOPE will provide a comprehensive list of systems and their respective application port numbers so that our team’s reachability is restricted to only what is required. The one exception to this rule would be our Collaboration Solution Report (CSR) product, which includes Cybersecurity Vulnerability Scanning (CVS) activities. The CSR CVS activities will be coordinated events, wherein access must be more open, yet is only open during the scanning events and then can be closed.
Level of Access
SIPSCOPE requires the creation of temporary root “super user” level access to all client systems covered under a Statement of Work.
Additionally, we require that Multi-Level Administration (MLA) access is enabled to ensure proper Authentication, Authorization, & Accounting (AAA) of system events during project workflow.
Upon project completion, the temporary accounts can be suspended or deleted.
Fee Schedules
SIPSCOPE requires a 20% down payment for any fixed-fee project and a 25% retainer down payment for any hourly “Time & Materials” Professional Consulting Services Engagement Estimates. Alternatively to the 25% retainer down payment, SIPSCOPE also offers Time & Materials Hourly Blocks in 10-Hour Increments.
SIPSCOPE and Client must agree to a project milestone billing arrangement, which will be documented in a Statement of Work signed by both parties.
All transmitted invoices must be paid to SIPSCOPE by Client within 30-days of receipt (Net 30).
Through our Secure Payment Vendor, Stripe, SIPSCOPE accepts major credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, & Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) deposits from United States Banks.
Clients may not resell, mark-up, or re-brand SIPSCOPE products or services.
Pricing documented on this website is subject to change and does not include and is subject to additional applicable city, state, or federal sales taxes. Final prices as presented by SIPSCOPE to Client, including applicable sales taxes, will be documented in a Statement of Work signed by both parties.
Planning & Testing Protocols
SIPSCOPE and Client must agree to rigorous Project Planning & Testing protocols, which will be documented in a Statement of Work signed by both parties.
For any projects involving system configuration changes, system or service migration tasks, hardware replacements, or software upgrades and patches, or any other system operational- or performance-impacting activities, thorough testing both before (baseline) and after each maintenance event is required.
SIPSCOPE will provide Client continual access to a detailed Project Plan throughout the duration of the Project. Client must approve the initial Project Plan and any subsequent modifications, in writing, prior to task execution.
